About Us

All the Form is a partnership between Dean Felton and Paul Shields.  Dean is passionate about horse racing and Paul is an expert on computers.  Together they bring years of punting experience combined with expert technology to bring you an advantage.  Both own and work at Oyster Consulting - a leading management consultancy.

Paul

Dean has loved horse racing since he was a youngster.  He has been actively involved in punting, taking wagers and owning horses.  He has a vast knowledge of what makes a winner and the key factors for success.  

Dean is also a co founder and Director of Oyster Consulting.  Prior to this, Dean was managing the Business Analysis function, an in house advisory team, for Rio Tinto Iron Ore.  Previous to this role Dean worked in a number of finance and accounting roles for over 10 years in Australia, Canada and the UK. The organisations include the Australian National Audit Office, Chartered Accountancy practice, Australian National University, and various mining houses.

Dean received an MBA from Murdoch University, graduating with Distinctions.  Dean studied Business at the University of New England, specialising in Accounting.
Paul is a IT expert with expertise in Artificial Intelligence.  He has built a variety of successful analytical systems and has recently applied some of the state of the art data mining techniques to horse racing.  Originally his systems used connectionist architectures (eg neural nets) but recentlly he have shifted to more modern natural systems based approaches.  In the business world he is co founder and Director of Oyster Consulting. Paul’s commercial experience spans twenty years, in operational and strategic roles.  His working experience has been in the minerals industry and the technology industry. 

Paul received a BEng in Digital Electronics from the University of Adelaide and a BSc in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Astrophysics from the University of Adelaide.  Paul also has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management finishing top in his cohort in strategic management.

Paul is a Member of the Australian Computer Society, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, the Association of Computing Machinery and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
